K-12 & Youth Programs

North Country strives to improve the education, training and distribution of healthcare professionals in Arizona. We believe it is important to provide information, education and exposure to the many healthcare careers available beginning at the elementary school level. Our initiatives educate all pre-college youth, with an emphasis on underrepresented minorities and economically and educationally disadvantaged populations.

Building Success: Girls on the Run Scholarship Honoring Sara Morley

Continuing Her Legacy

The Sara Morley Girls on the Run Spirit Scholarship was founded in 2014 in honor of Sara Morley, former Girls on the Run of Northern Arizona (GOTRNA) council director, and her deep commitment to public service, belief in the limitless potential of every girl, and passionate participation in life.

Each year, GOTRNA awards one $1,000 scholarship to an outstanding GOTRNA alumna to help costs associated with continuing her education beyond high school.Â
