Med-Start is a 6 week intensive residential experience for
high school juniors interested in health professions located at the University of Arizona. This
enrichment program is organized in coordination with the Arizona Area Health
Education Centers to provide high school students with skill building
activities, health career exploration, team building, scholarly research
experience, and an overall introduction to college life. Students come
from across Arizona and priority enrollment is given to those from communities
that are underrepresented in health careers. Students Visit each AHEC for a day
of health career activities. Students will be visiting North Country June 15th
2024.
