Dr. Brandon Abbott ‘To Medical Education, Mentorship and Beyond’ Scholarship

North Country HealthCare is thrilled to present the Dr. Brandon Abbott ‘To Medical Education, Mentorship and Beyond’ scholarship opportunity. In our inaugural year, we will be providing three awards in the amount of $1,000 each to an outstanding pre-med, medical student and resident, respectively. The intent of the scholarship is not only to offset education related expenses but also to focus on establishing mentorship and support throughout your journey and beyond.

The application for the Freeport-McMoRan Native American College Scholarship and the Freeport-McMoRan Navajo Code Talkers Scholarship will open from February 1, 2025 and close on May 1, 2025.

  • $3,000/per semester for students enrolled in a four-year program at a university or tribal college
  • $1,500/per semester for students enrolled in a two-year program at a community college or tribal college
  • $5,000/per semester for students enrolled in a graduate program for students enrolled at a trade or technical school, the value of this scholarship will be determined by program length, not to exceed $15,000

Education Forward Arizona Scholarship

Student may be eligible to receive up to $6,000 per year ($2,000 – $3,000 per semester) for up to 4 years
Intended for students planning to obtain a bachelor’s degree within 4 years; beginning your education at a community college for the first 2 years is an option
