October Education Moves the Mission Moment – Girls on the Run 5K!

Girls on the Run of Northern Arizona is a program of North Country HealthCare! Join us for our celebratory 5K events this November.

Twice each year in November, Girls on the Run of Northern Arizona hosts our end-of-season 5K celebrations – one in Flagstaff and one in Camp Verde – and they are truly the highlight of our program! These events are not just runs; they are powerful celebrations of confidence, courage, and community.

For our participants, the 5K is the culmination of their 10-week season journey. It’s the moment they realize they are capable of so much more than they ever imagined. Each girl crosses the finish line with a smile, surrounded by cheering teammates, coaches, families, and community supporters, proving to themselves that they can set a big goal, work toward it, and accomplish it with joy and determination.

Every girl who participates in Girls on the Run trains for this 5K throughout the season, learning lessons about confidence, kindness, and perseverance along the way. When they cross that finish line, it’s more than a 5k; it’s a moment of triumph that builds lifelong resilience and joy.

Come be part of the celebration – whether you run, volunteer, or simply cheer them on, your presence helps make the magic possible!
